Your run is your business.

FreeRun requests your precise location only after you choose “Use my location.” The location and route waypoints are sent through FreeRun’s Cloudflare Worker to the routing provider. They are not written to our database or included in application logs.

Without an account

Saved routes and pace settings stay in your browser. Clearing browser storage removes them. Cloudflare may process short-lived technical information needed to serve and protect the app.

With an account

Google or GitHub provides your name, email address, and profile identifier for sign-in. Authentication sessions are stored in Cloudflare D1. Heart-rate goals are planning notes, not medical advice or live monitoring.

Map and route providers

Map views load tiles from OpenStreetMap. Route coordinates are sent to FOSSGIS/OSRM. Signed-in elevation searches send sampled route coordinates to Open-Meteo. Review each provider’s privacy policy before use.
